Kathleen was privileged.  She had a private bedroom, she rode warm and cozy in the front seat of the car while the boys got pelted with slush and stones pushing the Buick through snow and ice. She got quick potty stops while the boys had to "hold it until we get home."  She got new outfits for the school year while the boys wore hand-me-downs.  She relaxed by the fireplace while the boys did the cooking, cleaning and the laundry. But the boys gave her never ending love and protected her forever!

The boys shared one bedroom, shoveled the driveway, stoked the coal furnace and did the shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry and took out the garbage. But they never complained and were protective of their sister serving notice to boyfriends that they better not cross the line!.
